The Total Rate includes all applicable taxes, standard fees, travel insurance, pet fee (if property is pet-friendly) and a non-refundable $50 Reservation Fee. Linens and towels are also included, and standard beds are made for your arrival. The travel insurance and pet fee (if not traveling with your pup) are optional and can be removed during the reservation process.

"This is a great house - especially outside! Lots of outdoor furniture - both on the upper deck and below near the boat dock. It is decorated beautifully. The kitchen is HUGE and modern and has everything you could possibly think of needing: tons of dishes, flatware, cookware, gadgets, etc. The laundry room is huge with a large mud sink and a second refrigerator. There were two negatives for us: 1) The 2nd & 3rd bedrooms are very small and none of the bedrooms have closets (there is one large closet in the hallway). 2) The living room is at one end of the house, completely separate from the kitchen, etc. It has plenty of seating and even a table (we used for games), but we didn't like that it was so separate. One other note is that while this house says it sleeps 10 - that means 2 are on rollaways and 2 are sleeping on a futon in the living room. All that said, we would rent this house again for our family of six. The outside more than makes up for any negatives inside."

"We rented the house for my husbands 50th birthday. We have rented several times in the past and this was by far the best house!! Loved the kitchen, big enough and well stocked for all the cooking we did. We also had room to keep our boat tied up to the dock- a huge bonus for my husband. We hung out and ate downstairs a lot as there was plenty of room and seating for everyone!! We will be renting this house again!!"

"Blue moon was an excellent choice for our family vacation! It's very spacious, with lots of beds! Perfect for large families! The house is equipped with everything you could possibly need! A/C works great! All applicances work well! The outdoor patio was perfect for night time fishing on the canal, and there are even green fishing lights in the water so you can see the fish! This house was quite a ways out of town. It took about 25-30 minutes to get back to the main strip (pleasure pier, grocery stores, restaurants...etc). There is a small convenience store around the corner, but the prices are astronomical and they're only open until 10 PM. The beach is practically across the street (about 1/2 a mile walk). We had an AMAZING time at the Blue Moon! It was a great experience! Thank you Sand 'n Sea!! Special thanks to Mandalea! She made the process smooth from the very beginning!"

"THIS HOUSE IS NICE!! Plenty of room in this 4 bedroom. On a cul-de-sac, so no traffic issues with kids. This is pet friendly and it meant a lot to bring our dog with us. The bulkhead space is quite large as we had at least 4-6 lines in the water every night. Caught a nice flounder... it was delicious! If you have a boat, don't forget to ask for the key to use the boat launch just a block from the house."

"This house was absolutely wonderful! We were in Galveston for the Beach Palooza and my husband's 40th birthday, and couldn't have picked a better location. The decks were awesome, we could sit and watch fish jumping out of the water and could fish right there off the dock. The house was equipped with anything and everything we could possibly need which made it a home away from home. There were 4 couples staying and we all had a fabulous weekend away. "Blue Moon is absolutely awesome. The location on a double cul de sac canal lot can't be beat. We docked our boat right there where we had easy access to take the kids on a plesant boat ride or do some serious fishing. Everyone had lots of fun fishing off the pier and the bulkhead. The home is spacious enough for a large family (ten including kids) to roam and visit but not be on top of each other all the time. The upstairs deck has a beautiful view. A great place to hang out for breakfast or late evenings. Oh, and I almost forgot to mention the unforgetable covered patio in back! That in itself makes this home the best. We highly recommend Blue Moon."
