The Total Rate includes all applicable taxes, standard fees, travel insurance, pet fee (if property is pet-friendly) and a non-refundable $50 Reservation Fee. Linens and towels are also included, and standard beds are made for your arrival. The travel insurance and pet fee (if not traveling with your pup) are optional and can be removed during the reservation process.

They were VERY old and uncomfortable and had deep holes in them. Everyone commented on the upstairs beds. they were great! We enjoyed the large dining table as our party enjoyed after dinner games and you can not beat 5 bathrooms when you have a group of 7 teenagers in the mix."

"This is an awesome house for your vacation in Galveston. It sleeps 18 and since there were only 9 of us, we had plenty of room to spread out and not be "on top of each other". The 4 bedrooms, plus the upstairs playroom/sleeping/TV area were perfect for our family and 4 1/2 baths with BIG showers were plenty for our group. The large kitchen is large enough for several people to help in cooking and cleaning. I loved the large dinner table that seats 10 plus 2 barstools if you need them. The 2 BBQ pits downstairs were nice as well and we used them both at the same time so less time was spent cooking. I like having the downstairs(outside ground level) shower with hot water. I have rented this property before and will definitely rent it again."

"This property is absolutely perfect for a family since there are so many bathrooms (including a powder room/laundry room) and the bedrooms provide privacy and personal space for everyone. Each of the four bedrooms has it's own little deck as well. It is one of the few properties I saw that had at least one double in every bedroom...so many have bunk beds as the fourth and are not adult-oriented. This house was perfect for four adult couples who had their own private bedroom. The added bonus was the open-area in the middle of the upstairs which had three twins and a pull out sofa and TV. This was perfect for the teens and created a "den" like room for the teens to hang out in. The trip we took was for my husband's 50th birthday, and several friends came over on Saturday night. The living/kitchen/dining are absolutely perfect for entertaining. The kitchen is a bit dated, but huge - long and wide and on the end is a separate wet bar with an ice maker. It accommodated many people cooking. The leather furniture in the living room was extremely comfortable and cozy. It has a wood-burning fireplace as well. The dining table is enormous another thing that's hard to find in a rental house. The view from the cutout in the kitchen, the dining room, and the living room was spectacular. The windows also have very good outside shutters that opened and closed with a switch. All that said, I am not sure if this property should be labeled "beachfront" precisely. I was a tad disappointed that it wasn't directly "on the sand". I suppose this is my fault since I should have pulled up google earth. Yes, you have unobstructed ocean view, which is beautiful, but there are dunes and a walkway you have to go to to get to the sand and water. The house is at an angle to the water, not straight facing it. Not a huge deal, being Nov, but not exactly what I expected. The other thing would be the distance from town - it took a long time to get to the store for groceries. Last note make sure you get precise directions as navigators don't seem to work in finding the house. Overall would definitely recommend again and we totally enjoyed our stay."

"We have stayed at Casa Corte several years in a row. We love the access to the beach and that it is relatively uncrowded. The 4 1/2 baths are perfect for a large number of people. The large dining table is a great spot for games as well as dining. While the house is not new, everything is very clean and well-furnished. Thirteen can sleep in beds and two more on a sofa bed. That is great for our family reunion each year."
