The Total Rate includes all applicable taxes, standard fees, travel insurance, pet fee (if property is pet-friendly) and a non-refundable $50 Reservation Fee. Linens and towels are also included, and standard beds are made for your arrival. The travel insurance and pet fee (if not traveling with your pup) are optional and can be removed during the reservation process.

"Beach access was very good. Hot tub was nice (was not able to use it as much due to a mechanical problem - it took three days to fix but they got on it asap). Great indirect/direct views of the ocean. Not really a problem...but it would have been nice to access a 1/2 bath on the main level without having to go thru a bedroom to a jack/jill bathroom go upstairs or downstairs...not really a problem but would be nice if it were. There was a musty smell in the downstairs bathroom. One of our guest dropped a bottle of peppermint oil and it broke....took care of the smell (lol). Really the consensus of my sons and their input that this property would be great to come back to again. The beds were very comfortable. Overall a great stay! "

"Lots of comfortable seating, just a few steps go beach(we are in our late 60's), downstairs sink and commode was very convenient,and extra fridge down there. Too hot to try but it was clean an ready go be used.plenty of sleeping spots. Had a great time."

"This was my first rental from Sand and Sea. I wish I had written down all the names of the staff that helped members that helped because the were all very helpful. "We stayed at this property for a short getaway with extended family. What a delight! House is decorated so nicely and it feels very clean. The best part are the views!! There is no obstruction and you can see the beach from both balconies and windows. Kitchen was well equipped and tons of space to sleep. No obstruction just an empty lot between the beach and the beach house. The hot tub was wonderful! I will definitely be coming back here! "Check that the hot tub is working when you get there and call or get instructions about anything during business hours so you don't have to wait until the next day. This property is great and we loved that it had an air conditioned bathroom downstairs in addition to the refrigerator, washer dryer, and outdoor shower. Plenty of sleeping spaces."

"We stayed here in the third week of May. This is a beautiful and very tastefully decorated property. I am a clean freak and this is a place I felt like home. It was very nicely kept and kitchen and bathroom are well equipped. The best part is the actual view. It is right at the beach and I was comfortable enough to let my 2 girls ages 11 and 8, walk on the beach by themselves as I was able to watch them while sitting on the deck. Well suited for couples or families with kids. Another plus is the outdoor covered shower and the half bath downstairs. We will definitely go the same house when ever we plan a getaway in Galveston! Thank you sand and sea for this gem!"
