The Total Rate includes all applicable taxes, standard fees, travel insurance, pet fee (if property is pet-friendly) and a non-refundable $50 Reservation Fee. Linens and towels are also included, and standard beds are made for your arrival. The travel insurance and pet fee (if not traveling with your pup) are optional and can be removed during the reservation process.

"We loved staying at The Tides! This was a great little property that had everything we needed. Clean, bright, comfortable with great upkeep and modern appliances all around. We cooked a lot and the kitchen was well equipped. Our teenage boys loved sleeping in the loft while we loved the comfortable master bed. It was even comfortable for two picky sleepers use to a Tempur-Pedic mattress at home. Great views of the ocean! We would definitely stay here again. Our only complaint was the extremely slow wifi we needed several times for looking up restaurants, attractions, and trying to deal with getting a new phone for the one that went swimming!"

"The Tides, what a jewel! We've stayed here numerous times and just love it. It's a small home that doesn't feel tight. It has a great view of the beach from the deck and the dining table. It has a lot of natural light and vaulted ceilings giving it an airy feel. The kitchen is well stocked with glasses, plates, small appliances, pots, pans and cooking utensils. It's a perfect get-a-way beach house."

"The Tides is newly remodeled, nicely appointed, clean and well maintained. It is located in Sea Isle, making it close enough to Galveston attractions, but far enough way from city bustle. We enjoyed the open floor plan & great views. Double pane windows keep the house cool & quiet. We also liked the new kitchen appliances, washer/dryer & dish TV. The owner purchased the property in front of the house as well, so you get a great unobstructed view of the beach without the beachfront price. This property is perfect for couples, or a small family. The loft sleeping is suitable for older kids or teens - not recommended for adults. Two full bathrooms (showers only) is also a bonus."
