The Total Rate includes all applicable taxes, standard fees, travel insurance, pet fee (if property is pet-friendly) and a non-refundable $50 Reservation Fee. Linens and towels are also included, and standard beds are made for your arrival. The travel insurance and pet fee (if not traveling with your pup) are optional and can be removed during the reservation process.

Kitchen definitely not made for short people.(Fortunately we are tall.)Dishes too heavy so use paper plates. It's vacation! Extra folding table and chairs a plus this year. "If you are looking for a great extended family retreat this is it! There is ample room on the main floor for large family gatherings and having 4 of the 5 bedrooms upstairs makes it nice for sleeping arrangements. GREAT porch that looks out to the Gulf, the sunrises are wonderful while enjoying with your morning coffee. Excellent beach to walk and for the kids (dogs) to play on."

"This house is spacious and accommodated our 15 family members. Proximity to beach was close enough. The path could be a little better cleared. Kitchen was overstocked with plates and bowls. Small thing but no cookie sheet. Washer/dryer works very well. AC worked extremely well. House does sleep 18 but know that 10 guests must sleep in bunk room. Other bedrooms are set up nicely for couples. Covered patios big and furniture comfortable."

"This is a wonderful property. Plenty of room. Great beach access. The large living/kitchen/dining area is definitely an asset. The bedrooms are all nice sizes. Everything was easy to maintain and in good working order. Although it is around a 30 minute drive back into Galveston, there are several markets, liquor stores, and restaurants nearby. Because of location, the beach area was very quiet and private."

"This beach house was very lovely and roomy. It truly looks just like the pictures. We had seven adults and three children in our party and we were very comfortable. I LOVED that every room has its own bathroom. Definitely take a trip to the grocery store before you get out there because it is located in a quiet area a good distance from the commercialized area of Galveston. As its name suggests, it lends itself nicely to a "retreat" rather than a location that is close to shopping, dining, or seeing the sites. Very, very nice!"
